Hyundai is upgrading its Elantra for the 2013 model-year,
changing optional equipment originally available in various packages
for the 2012 model-year vehicle to standard features on the latest
edition of the sedan.
The automaker said the 2013-MY Elantra GLS
M/T will now come with the same features as the 2012-MY Elantra
equipped with the Comfort Package. This means standard air-conditioning,
16-inch wheels (vs. 15-inch wheels), cruise control, telescopic
steering wheel and solar glass with a windshield shade band.
The
2013-MY GLS A/T will come with heated front seats (originally included
in the Preferred Package), and the Elantra Limited will come with a
standard power driver’s seat with power lumbar support. The Limited’s
Technology Package option group will also now offer Dual Automatic
Temperature Control with a Clean Air Ionizer and Auto Defog System.
The 2013-MY Elantra will also feature a new color choice: Atlantic Blue.
